Hot Tapping
Hot Tapping is the ability to safely tie into a (live) pressurized system. Hot Taps may be performed on various types of pipes from PVC to CSC (Concrete Steel Cylinder Pipe) all while under pressure and without service interruption.
Line Stopping
Line Stops are used to temporarily isolate a piping system or section of piping to complete modifications or repairs. The entire process is executed without any interruption of service.
Valve Insertions
Insertion Valves add a permanent valve into a system with no interruption of service and no loss of in-system operating pressure. There are a multitude of applications for Insertion Valves ranging from underground domestic water piping - to isolating floors of multi-story building's chilled and/or hot water services.
Line Freezing
Pipe Freezing is the method of applying liquid nitrogen onto the external surface of a pipe in order to lower the temperature of the fluid within the pipe to below it's freezing point. This creates a freeze plug capable of withholding pressures up to 4,000psi.
